5 questions for you...
1. What's the best advice you’ve ever given or received?
I’ve been lucky to receive some wonderful advice over my lifetime. However, the most recent piece of meaningful advice I received was from my tennis coach. I played competitive tennis from childhood up through college, and I recently started playing again. My coach and I were talking about ways of handling competition on the court and he said to me “ultimately, I just play the best that I can at that moment.” It dawned on me that it's such a valuable thought that can be applied across various aspects of life.
As a driven, type A woman, I have always expected a lot of myself both professionally and personally. I have never been good at giving myself the credit I deserve unless I have achieved the perfect outcome. But the fact is that none of us can do a perfect job or be the top ranked professional or best wife, mother, daughter, sister in every instance. Things will ebb and flow, and some days will be smoother than others, as long as I’m doing the best that I can at that given moment.
2. How would you describe your personal style?
Clean and simple, yet chic.
3. What was the last thing that made you laugh out loud?
Dancing with my kids to Havana by Camila Cabello. I just love seeing them happy and carefree.
4. What’s a productivity tip you swear by?
I write down my goals, map out my plan, and timeline and follow a methodical process to get there.
5. Think of the woman you most admire and name three qualities she exhibits.
Strong, sharp, and articulate.
What's in your desk?
Cell phone, Chanel lip crayon, and business cards
